Part-time position with compensation ranging from GBP 7.5 to GBP 12.21 per hour.

Company Description: Junior Adventures Group

Location: Fairfield Spencer Academy, Toton Lane, Stapleford, Nottingham, NG9 7HB

Hours: Up to 22.5 hours per week during term time, with operational hours Monday to Friday for Breakfast Club from 7:30-8:45 and After School Club from 14:30-17:45. During holidays, you can work up to 40 hours per week from 8:30 to 17:30.

This is a casual contract during term time to cover for staff sickness, holidays, and busier sessions. More permanent hours will be offered during term time once they become available.

Pay: Up to £12.21 per hour (plus holiday pay)

Contracts Available: Casual (Bank Staff) during term times and up to 40 hours per week during school holidays if desired.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute structured and exciting activities that encourage maximum participation, such as multi-sports, games, arts and crafts, and structured play, ensuring they are age-appropriate.
  • Follow all Health and Safety protocols and policies, including signing in and out processes.
  • Provide refreshments for the children.
  • Create an inclusive and fun atmosphere for the children in our care.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and execute activities.
  • Ensure all activities are age and skill-appropriate while prioritising safety.
  • Set up and pack away play spaces, moving furniture and play equipment as needed.
  • Keep all relevant documentation, including accident and incident forms, up to date.
  • Communicate professionally with team members, parents, children, and schools.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and safety checks for all equipment.
  • Champion health and safety, providing first aid where necessary.
  • Keep all information related to the children confidential and secure.
  • Inspire team members and children to have fun and lead an active lifestyle.

This role requires compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974. You must provide two references, one from your most recent employer and the other from a childcare setting (if applicable). A DBS check will be conducted on your behalf, so please prepare the correct documentation.
