Job Title: SEND 1:1 Support – After School Club Playworker

Location: St Nicolas CE Primary School, Boxhill Walk, Abingdon, Oxfordshire OX14 1HB

Start Date: ASAP

Pay: GBP15 per hour (plus holiday pay)

Work Dates: Monday to Friday during Term Time

Working hours: 15.00 – 18.00 for After School Club

Contract: up to 15 hrs per week

NB: Experienced & Qualified SEND support is essential for this role.

Parking is available onsite.

Junior Adventures Group UK is seeking a happy, enthusiastic, and passionate 1:1 SEN Activity Playworker to join our growing team. This is a complex role requiring a confident and proactive individual with experience supporting children with SEN.

As a 1:1 SEN Activity Playworker, you will:

• Support children within our Holiday Club
• Support children in sensory activities and games
• Engage with children through play and sports
• Supervise children in a safe and welcoming environment
• Create an inclusive and fun atmosphere
• Have experience supporting children with PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties)
• Manage confrontation and challenging behaviors
• Be patient and responsive to children\’s needs

Experience for this role is essential.
