Do you love working with children and creating fun, engaging experiences?
We're looking for an enthusiastic and caring Playworker / Activity Leader to join our Holiday Club team in Salisbury. This is a fantastic opportunity to spend your summer helping children learn, play, and make lasting memories through a variety of exciting activities.
From sports and team games to arts & crafts and creative play, no two days are the same.
🕒 Working Hours
School Holidays Only
Monday to Friday
08:30 – 17:30
Summer Dates Available
📅 20 July – 2 September 2026
There are also opportunities to work during future school holidays throughout the year (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays).
Please note: Applicants must be available for a minimum of three weeks during the summer holidays.

As a Holiday Club Playworker, you'll help deliver engaging activities, support children's development through play, and create an environment where every child feels included, valued, and encouraged to thrive.

🌈 Key Responsibilities
- Deliver fun, engaging, and inclusive activities for children
- Support a variety of sessions including sports, games, arts & crafts, and structured play
- Create a safe, welcoming, and positive environment
- Support children throughout the day, including arrivals and collections
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and company procedures at all times
- Prepare and provide refreshments while maintaining hygiene standards
- Assist with setting up and packing away equipment and activity areas
- Complete accident, incident, and activity records where required
- Communicate professionally with children, parents, schools, and colleagues
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage participation

- Previous experience working with children (desirable)
- A positive, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, responsible, and able to follow procedures
- The ability to create a fun and safe environment for children
- Energy, creativity, and a genuine passion for childcare and playwork

This role requires compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
Successful applicants will be required to:

- Undergo an Enhanced DBS check
- Provide documentation to support identity, right to work, and vetting requirements
