As an Activity Leader, you will be part of the team responsible for working at Breakfast Club & After School Club, delivering engaging and fun activities.

Full Job Description

Job Title: Activity Leader
Salary: Up to GBP 12.21 depending on age and experience
Hours: 06:45 am – 09:00 am and 14:45 pm – 18:30 pm
Days: Monday to Friday
Department: Childcare
Reporting to: Area Manager / Club Manager
Location: Halsford Park RH19 1LR

Overview:

As an Activity Leader, you will work at the Breakfast Club, supporting children with activities, during high-tea, and transition times. You will serve as an excellent role model to meet our high standards of childcare. The role is primarily during term time, with additional hours available during holiday camps.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Support the club in ensuring children are safe, happy, and secure
  • Work with children of all ages and abilities
  • Lead activities and follow plans, adapting as needed
  • Organize children between activities
  • Communicate clearly with colleagues
  • Be a role model for children and staff
  • Attend meetings and monitor staff ratios
