We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Breakfast & After School Club Manager to join our friendly team in Northwood, HA6. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced childcare professional to lead our well-established wraparound care provision, creating a safe, happy and engaging environment where children can play, learn and thrive before and after the school day.
- Full & Relevant Level 3 Early Years Educator Qualification (EYFS) β Essential
Please note: Applications will only be considered from candidates who hold a Full & Relevant Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification recognised for working within the EYFS in England. Level 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning or Teaching Assistant qualifications do not meet the essential criteria for this role.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Breakfast Club: 7.30am β 8.30am
- After School Club: 3.00pm β 6.00pm
- Plus 3.75 hours paid administration time each week for planning, paperwork and organisation.
About the Role:
As Club Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our Breakfast & After School Club, ensuring children receive outstanding care in a warm, stimulating and inclusive environment. You will lead a small team, plan engaging activities, build strong relationships with children, families and the school, and ensure the club operates to the highest standards of care, safeguarding and professionalism.
About You:
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a Full & Relevant Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (essential).
- Have experience working with children in an Early Years or childcare setting.
- Have previous supervisory or management experience (desirable).
- Have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), safeguarding and child development.
- Be confident leading and motivating a team.
- Be organised, reliable and able to work independently.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be passionate about providing exceptional childcare experiences for children.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the daily operation of the Breakfast & After School Club.
- Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.
- Plan and deliver fun, creative and engaging activities.
- Ensure children's safety, wellbeing and safeguarding at all times.
- Supervise, support and inspire club staff.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and school staff.
- Complete planning, registers, administration and other club documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety and all relevant policies and procedures.
