Experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Leader required to oversee and deliver high-quality childcare within a busy Breakfast & After School Club in Bradford-on-Avon.

We are seeking a qualified Early Years professional to lead activities and support the development of children within our wraparound care provision. This role requires a Level 3 EYFS Childcare Qualification due to working with Nursery and Reception-aged children.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • Breakfast Club: 07:30 – 08:45
  • After School Club: 15:15 – 18:00

About the Role

At Junior Adventures Group, we are looking for a passionate and motivated Early Years Leader to join our growing team. You will be responsible for leading activity delivery, supporting staff, and ensuring a safe, engaging and inclusive environment for all children. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with Early Years experience and leadership skills who is looking to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the delivery of engaging EYFS-based activities
  • Oversee daily routines and ensure high-quality care and provision
  • Supervise, support, and motivate team members
  • Plan structured activities including games, arts & crafts, structured play, and age-appropriate sports activities
  • Ensure compliance with the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and health & safety policies
  • Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, schools, and central operations
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children
  • Take responsibility for safeguarding and welfare of children in your care
  • Support behaviour management and promote positive engagement

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 EYFS Childcare Qualification – essential
  • Experience working within Early Years settings
  • Leadership or team supervision experience (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple responsibilities
  • Passionate about working with children and supporting their development
  • Ability to lead by example and inspire a team

This role is subject to safeguarding requirements in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Applicants must:
