Qualifications:
- Experience and qualification in SEND.
- Experience supporting 1:1 SEN children.
- Ability to manage confrontation and challenging behaviours.
- Patience and responsiveness to child needs.
Responsibilities:
- Support children within the Holiday Club.
- Support children in all areas with sensory activities and games.
- Engage with children through play and sports.
- Supervise children in a safe and welcoming environment.
- Create an inclusive and fun atmosphere where possible.
- Experience in teaching or supporting PMLD children (Profound and multiple learning difficulties).
Additional Information:
- Parking is available onsite.
- Compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy and exemption from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974.
- Provide two references – one from your most recent employer and the other from a childcare setting (if applicable).
- DBS check will be conducted on your behalf.
