Are you a passionate childcare professional who enjoys leading a team and creating unforgettable experiences for children?

At Junior Adventures Group (JAG), we're looking for an enthusiastic Breakfast & After School Club Manager to lead our thriving wraparound care provision at St Nicolas' C of E Infant School in Guildford.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a busy and rewarding club where every day brings new adventures. You'll lead a small, dedicated team, build strong relationships with children, parents and the school, and create a safe, welcoming and inspiring environment where children aged 4–11 can play, learn and thrive before and after the school day.

Whether it's arts and crafts, sports, imaginative play, team games or outdoor adventures, you'll help make every session a highlight of each child's day.

This role is ideal for someone ready to take the next step into management or an existing childcare leader looking for a fresh challenge.

There are also opportunities to increase your hours by working in our Holiday Clubs and Lunchtime Clubs, if desired.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the Breakfast & After School Club.
  • Plan and deliver exciting, inclusive and engaging activities for children aged 4–11.
  • Create a safe, happy and welcoming environment where every child feels valued.
  • Lead, motivate and support your team to deliver outstanding childcare.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, school staff and colleagues.
  • Manage registers, planning and day-to-day club administration.
  • Promote positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
  • Ensure safeguarding, health & safety and company policies are followed at all times.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about working with children.
  • A confident and supportive leader who enjoys motivating others.
  • Organised, reliable and able to manage a busy club environment.
  • An excellent communicator who builds positive relationships.
  • Creative, energetic and full of enthusiasm.
  • Committed to delivering exceptional childcare experiences.

Experience in childcare, education, playwork, sports coaching, youth work or a similar environment would be advantageous.

Whether you've worked as a Playworker, Sports Coach, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Holiday Club Leader, Youth Worker or Children's Activity Leader, we’d love to hear from you.

What’s in it for You?

  • £13.60 per hour.
  • Permanent Term Time Only contract (39 weeks per year).
  • Family-friendly hours with no weekend working.
  • Paid training and ongoing professional development.
  • Access to a 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme through Health Assured.
  • Discounted wraparound care and Holiday Clubs (where applicable).
  • A fun, supportive and welcoming team.
  • Excellent opportunities to progress your career with Junior Adventures Group.
