Breakfast Club and Afterschool Wraparound - Childcare Activity Leader / Playworker
Location:Willow Grove Primary School, Wixams, Bedford
Hours: 20hours per week (hours generally 7.30am-9.00am and 3.00pm-6.00pm Monday to Friday)
Pay:Up to £12.71 plus holiday pay
Contract:Term time only (to start September 2026)

AtJunior Adventures Group, we’re not just childcare, we’re champions of fun! From football to face painting, scavenger hunts to snack time, you'll bring smiles, laughter, and energy to ourBreakfast & After School Clubsfor children aged 4–11.
This role issplit shift, meaning you'll work mornings and afternoons, with a break in between (great for studying, hobbies, family, or even a nap!). You’ll also have the opportunity to increase your hours duringHoliday Club seasons.
What you'll do day-to-day:
- Deliverexciting, age-appropriate activitieslike multi-sports, arts & crafts, group games, and creative play.
- Set up engaging play spaces andkeep things safe, clean, and awesome.
- Supervise children with care and enthusiasm, ensuring every child feels welcome, safe, and included.
- Prepare snacks and managesign-in/out processeswith a friendly face and attention to detail.
- Work split shifts:7:30–9:00amand3:00–6:00pm, perfect for work-life balance or those seeking part-time fun!
- Be ateam playerwho can also take the lead when needed.

What we’re looking for:
- Someone wholoves working with childrenand brings apositive, can-do attitude
- A creative thinker who knows how toturn an ordinary afternoon into a magical experience
- A team player who’s also confident running activities and managing a group
- Bonus points if you have experience in teaching, coaching, childcare, or youth work (but not essential, personality goes a long way!)
