Job Title: SEND 1:1 Support – After School Club Playworker

Location: Twickenham Primary Academy, 2-4 The Green, Twickenham, TW2 6QF

Start Date: 18th August 2025

Pay: GBP15 per hour (plus holiday pay)

Work Dates: x3 After School Club Sessions (Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays) during Term Time

Operational hours: 15.00 – 18.00 for After School Club

Casual Contract: 9 hrs per week during Term Time Only

NB: Experienced & Qualified SEND is essential for this role.

Junior Adventures Group UK is looking for a happy, enthusiastic, and passionate 1:1 SEN Activity Playworker to join our growing family. This is a complex role that requires confidence and proactivity, with existing experience supporting children with SEN.

As a 1:1 SEN Activity Playworker, you will:

  • Support children within our Holiday Club
  • Support children in sensory activities and games
  • Engage with children through play and sports
  • Supervise children in a safe and welcoming environment
  • Create an inclusive and fun atmosphere where possible
  • Have experience in teaching or supporting children with PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties)
  • Manage confrontation and challenging behaviors
  • Be patient and responsive to children\’s needs

Experience for this role is essential.
