Job Title: Breakfast & After School Playworker/Activity Leader Start Date: 1st September Location: St Mary\’s C of E School, Keen Close, Aylesbury, HP19 7WF NB: Casual roles available to cover for staff sickness, staff holidays and busier sessions if a zero hour contract is more suitable. Hours: 21.25 hours per week - Term Time Only Working Hours during Term Time: Monday to Friday – Hours: 7.30 – 9.00 & 15.15 – 18.00 Pay: Up to £12.21 per hour (plus holiday pay) ** Someone who is passionate about working with children is essential for this role and SEND experience will be beneficial for this particular club ** Contracts Available: Term Time Only What’s in it for you? Create an inclusive and fun atmosphere for the children in our care, from picking them up from school to safely delivering them back to their parents or caregivers. Collaborate with the team to plan and execute structured and exciting activities that encourage maximum participation, such as multi-sports, games, arts and crafts, structured play, and more. Ensure all activities are age and skill-appropriate while prioritizing safety, including the proper use of equipment and space. Provide refreshments for the kids while maintaining our high standards of hygiene and health and safety. Set up and pack away play spaces, moving furniture and play equipment as needed. Follow all Health and Safety protocols and policies and keep all relevant documentation, including accident and incident forms, up to date and completed as needed. Ensure proper sign-in and sign-out processes and procedures are followed for all children in our care. Communicate professionally and authentically with team members, parents, children, and schools. • Conduct regular maintenance and safety checks for all equipment and kit. Take the lead in championing health and safety, providing first aid where necessary. Keep all information and documents related to the children in our care confidential and secure.
