Work Dates: Between Monday to Friday during Term Time
Working hours: 15.00 - 18.00 for After School Club
Contract: up to 15 hrs per week

Junior Adventures Group UK is on the lookout for a happy, enthusiastic and passionate 1:1 SEN Activity Playworker to join our ever growing family. This is a complex role which calls for the expertise of a confident and proactive individual with existing experience supporting children with SEN.
As an 1:1 SEN Activity Playworker, you will:
- Support children within our Holiday Club
- Support children in all areas with sensory activities and games.
- Engage with children through play and sports.
- Supervise children in a safe and welcoming environment.
- Create an inclusive and fun atmosphere where possible.
- Experience in either teaching or supporting PMLD children (Profound and multiple learning difficulties).
- Ability to manage confrontation and challenging behaviours.
- Must have patience and be able to respond to a child’s needs.
Experience for this role is a must have.

This role requires compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974. You must provide two references, one from your most recent employer and the other from a childcare setting (if applicable). We will conduct a DBS check on your behalf, so please prepare the correct documentation. You must meet these requirements to be eligible for the hiring process.
