Location: Alderton County Junior & Infant School, Alderton Hall Lane, Loughton IG10 3HE
Start Date: 1st September
Contract: Term Time Only - with the option to work during the holidays if desired at nearby sites
Hours: 15 hrs per week
Pay: £14.00 an hour
Working hours: 15.00 - 18.00 in the After School Club - Monday to Friday
Note: You can also work up to 40 hrs per week during school holidays if desired - our holiday clubs run from 8.30 - 17.30 during those times.
Qualifications: Level 3 EYFS Childcare Qualification is essential due to having Nursery and Reception Children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, direct and support staff in delivering a safe and effective programme.
- Provide inclusive, fun, and engaging care for children while inspiring them to explore their interests.
- Plan, supervise and deliver planned activities with structure and enthusiasm.
- Implement protocols and policies with team members.
- Create unexpected experiences that make people go 'WOW!'
This role requires compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974. You must provide two references, one from your most recent employer and the other from a childcare setting (if applicable). A DBS check will be conducted on your behalf, so please prepare the correct documentation.
