Location: The Welldon Park Academy, Wyvenhoe Road, Harrow, London, HA2 8LS
Operational Hours: Term Time: Monday to Friday - 7:30am - 8:45am & 3:30pm - 6pm
Pay: Up to Β£12.21 per hour
Contracts Available: Casual Contract
Note: No weekend working.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute structured and exciting activities that encourage maximum participation, such as multi-sports, games, arts and crafts, structured play, and more ensuring they are age-appropriate.
- Follow all Health and Safety protocols and policies, including signing in and out processes.
- Provide refreshments for the children.
- Plan and deliver activities from school pick-up to safe delivery back to parents or caregivers, in line with role expectations.
- Set up and pack away play spaces, moving furniture and play equipment as needed.
- Keep all information and documents related to the children in our care confidential and secure.
- Ensure proper sign-in and sign-out processes and procedures are followed for all children in our care.
- Communicate professionally and authentically with team members, parents, children, and schools, and conduct regular maintenance and safety checks for all equipment and kit.
- Take the lead in championing health and safety, providing first aid where necessary.
- Inspire our team members and the children in our care to have fun, be active, and lead an active lifestyle.

Qualifications / Requirements:
- This role requires compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974.
- You must provide two references, one from your most recent employer and the other from a childcare setting (if applicable).
- We will conduct a DBS check on your behalf, so please prepare the correct documentation.
- You must meet these requirements to be eligible for the hiring process.
