We are recruiting for a General Manager to oversee approximately 10 sites across the Oxfordshire area. This is a multi-site leadership role, requiring proven experience in managing across multiple locations. You will lead and inspire a team of Club Managers, ensuring high standards across all sites.
Salary: £33,000K

As a General Manager, you will have a home base at one of our Centres of Excellence (CoE), set high standards for excellence, and deliver top-quality experiences through careful planning. You will empower your team to be their best selves, reflecting our values.
Each CoE welcomes new adventurers, providing immersive training experiences, upskilling through coaching and mentoring, and driving a culture of excellence. You'll embody entrepreneurial skills to meet KPIs, build relationships with schools, parents, and team members, boost profit, and maintain unwavering quality. Whether it’s school wrap-around care or a leisure centre camp, you’ll lead diverse activities based on our ‘Whole of Child’ programming philosophy.
As you grow, you’ll pick up more schools and leisure centres, expanding your portfolio within a cluster of high-performing programs and engaged teams.
CommercialsManage Club Managers to drive club commercial performance by optimising costs, maximising revenue, and managing delivery hours to exceed budget expectations across your cluster. Coordinate local funding opportunities, partnering with your HEW and the Community Partnerships team. Collaborate with support functions (People, Marketing, Finance, Safeguarding, Customer Experience) to ensure all processes, guidelines, and SOPs are followed across your cluster. Deliver club results, feedback, and solutions to the Head of Education & Wellbeing. Work with the Head of Education & Wellbeing to ensure your CoE and cluster achieve short- and long-term business objectives. Ensure all clubs and teams within your cluster meet our JAG promise to partners and uphold contracts.
Product & Training DeliveryOwn the Adventure Program & Holiday HQ delivery within your cluster, ensuring world-class product and programming that places the child at the heart of our business. Empower teams to deliver experience-led programs that enrich and develop children. Coordinate the training calendar to ensure forward-thinking, sector-changing delivery. Deliver our JAG brand standards through programming and child engagement.
People LeadershipProvide exceptional leadership of Club Managers, promoting culture, values, and behaviours to continuously improve People, School, and Child Happiness. Work closely with Club Managers to ensure each member receives a world-class welcome to JAG UK and equal opportunity for ongoing training. Own employee engagement, feedback, retention, and performance to create extraordinary experiences for all schools. Foster an environment where members enjoy work and contribute to business success. Lead by example and show what greatness looks like.
SafetyDrive a safety-focused culture as the safeguarding ambassador, continuously demonstrating, monitoring, and reporting best practices. Serve as first point of contact for any safeguarding issues within your cluster. Ensure General Managers comply with Ofsted requirements.
Business DevelopmentCollaborate with HEW to grow new business through referrals and networking. Develop trusting relationships with headteachers, business managers, and governors to promote JAG brand and expand footprint. Upsell and promote additional service offerings within your cluster to enhance product offerings.
Funding & Community EngagementIdentify local community engagement to build trust and confidence. Coordinate with key stakeholders (Local Authorities, Schools, Heads, Business Development managers, Governors) to maintain strong relationships.
