Hours: 35 hours per week
Operational Hours: Monday to Friday – 7:30 am – 9.00 am, 12.00 pm – 1.30 pm & 2.30 pm – 6.00 pm (please confirm flexibility to work shifts above)
Contract: 52‑week contract
Pay: Up to ÂŁ14 per hour
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a passionate team, ensuring high‑quality care and a safe, effective programme.
- Maintain effective communication between venue, team, parents, school/host leisure centre, and central operations.
- Provide inclusive, fun, and engaging care to children, inspiring them to explore their interests.
- Plan, supervise, and deliver a range of activities (multi‑sports, games, arts & crafts, downtime, structured play) with structure and enthusiasm.
- Implement protocols, policies and procedures, maintaining the safety and welfare of all children under care.
- Maintain a positive, energetic, people‑focused environment that celebrates unexpected “wow” moments.
- Offer flexible and supportive leadership to reflect your unique talents.
Qualifications & Experience
- Management and team‑leading experience within nursery/wrap‑around care or an educational setting.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy club environment.
- Strong communication and team motivation skills.
- Passion for working with children and ability to inspire them.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare, with an enhanced DBS check required.
- Exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
