Location: Burgess Hill Rugby Club
Start Date: April/May 2026
Contract: Permanent Contract Available, Term time or 52 weeks
Working hours: Term time hours are 6:45am until 9am and 2:45pm until 6:30pm with an additional 10 hours for admin time = 40 hours per week
Pay: £13.50 per hour
The ideal candidate will have Management & Team leading experience and be able to demonstrate a real passion for working with children.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a passionate team who share goals; manage, direct and support staff in delivering a safe and effective programme, while ensuring team members are motivated and happy.
- Ensure effective communication between your venue, your team, parents, the school or host leisure centre, and Central Operations.
- Provide inclusive, fun, and engaging care for children while inspiring them to explore their interests.
- Plan, supervise and deliver planned activities with structure and enthusiasm, including multi-sports, games, arts & crafts, downtime and structured play.
- Follow procedures and policies; implement protocols with the team to safeguard and support children in our care.
- Be energetic, people-focused, warm, honest and genuine; aim to create memorable experiences for participants.
- Be flexible and bring your unique talents and skills to the role.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Management and team leadership experience.
- Passion for working with children.
- Ability to motivate and develop staff, and to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
