At Junior Adventures Group (JAG), we are looking for an enthusiastic Activity Leader / Playworker to help create unforgettable afternoons for children aged 4–11. From football and team games to arts & crafts, creative challenges, and structured play, every day is packed with fun, laughter, and opportunities to make a real difference.

After School Club: Monday to Friday, 15:20 – 18:00. Total contracted hours: 13 hours 20 minutes per week. Additional hours in school holidays: up to 40 hours.

About the Role

As an Activity Leader, you will help create a safe, exciting, and inclusive environment where children can relax, play, learn, and build confidence after the school day. You will work alongside a friendly and supportive team, delivering engaging activities that encourage creativity, teamwork, and lots of smiles. No two afternoons are ever the same!

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver exciting, age‑appropriate activities including multisports, arts & crafts, games, and creative play
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive
  • Supervise and engage children with enthusiasm and care
  • Set up and tidy away equipment and activity areas
  • Prepare healthy snacks and refreshments
  • Complete sign‑in and sign‑out procedures accurately
  • Follow safeguarding, health & safety and company policies at all times
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver outstanding childcare experiences
