Operational Hours: 8.00 - 17.00 During all school holidays

We are seeking an experienced and professional Club Manager to lead operations at our club. The Club Manager will oversee all aspects of club operations, including member services, staff management, facility maintenance, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding member experiences while maintaining operational efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily club operations and ensure smooth functioning of all departments and facilities
  • Manage and supervise club staff, including recruitment, training, performance reviews, and scheduling
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance member satisfaction and retention
  • Monitor and manage club budgets, financial performance, and cost control measures
  • Plan and coordinate member events, programs, and activities that align with club objectives
  • Maintain facility standards and coordinate maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal conditions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members, addressing concerns and feedback promptly
  • Implement and enforce club policies, procedures, and safety protocols
  • Analyze member data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Communicate effectively with club leadership and stakeholders regarding performance metrics and strategic direction
  • Resolve conflicts and handle member complaints with professionalism and discretion
  • Customize member experiences and develop retention strategies to maximize engagement

Qualifications

  • Must have: Level 3 Qualification in Early Years and valid paediatric first aid certificate
  • Proven experience in club management, hospitality operations, or similar organizational leadership role
  • Demonstrated expertise in staff management and team supervision
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and financial reporting
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in event planning and member engagement programs
  • Problem-solving abilities and decisive decision-making skills
  • Experience with facility management and vendor coordination
  • Knowledge of club operations software and point-of-sale systems
  • Customer service excellence and member-focused mindset
  • Strategic planning and business development experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high operational standards

This role requires compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974. You must provide two references, one from your most recent employer and the other from a childcare setting (if applicable). We will conduct a DBS check on your behalf, so please prepare the correct documentation. You must meet these requirements to be eligible for the hiring process.
