Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Holiday Club Playworker / Activity Leader to join our team in Andover this October half-term.
You’ll help create a fun, safe and inclusive environment where children can enjoy their school holidays through games, sports, creative activities and plenty of adventures!
Whether you already have childcare experience or simply have a real passion for working with children, we’d love to hear from you!
As a JAG Playworker, you’ll help make every day exciting and memorable for the children in our care.
Your role will include:
- Planning and delivering fun activities including multi-sports, games, arts & crafts and structured play
- Creating a welcoming, inclusive and safe environment
- Supporting children throughout the day, from arrival through to collection
- Following safeguarding, health & safety and company procedures
- Managing sign-in and sign-out procedures
- Preparing and providing refreshments while maintaining good hygiene standards
- Setting up and packing away activities, play spaces and equipment
- Completing relevant accident and incident documentation when required
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, colleagues and the school
- Supporting positive behaviour and encouraging children to get involved and have fun

On-site parking is available but limited.

This role is subject to safeguarding requirements in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
