Hours: Monday - Friday 07:30 - 09:00 & 15:30 - 18:00

Pay: Up to £12.71

Role Summary

Join our team as a Childcare Activity Leader and create memorable mornings and afternoons for children aged 4–11 in Breakfast & After School Clubs. The position is a split shift with opportunities to increase hours during Holiday Club seasons and Lunchtime Cover.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities such as multi-sports, arts & crafts, group games, and creative play.
  • Set up engaging play spaces and maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment.
  • Supervise children with care and enthusiasm, ensuring every child feels welcome, safe, and included.
  • Prepare snacks and manage sign‑in/out processes with a friendly face and attention to detail.
  • Work split shifts: 07:30–09:00 am and 03:00–06:00 pm.
  • Collaborate with the team and take the lead when needed.

Qualifications

Compliance & Requirements

This role requires compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974. Applicants must provide two references – one from the most recent employer and one from a childcare setting (if applicable). A DBS check will be conducted; please prepare the correct documentation.
