The predicted salary is between 12 - 16 £ per hour.

Location: St Nicolas CE Primary School, Boxhill Walk, Abingdon, OX14 1HB

Hours: 13.75 per week during term time, working 15.15 – 18.00 for After School Club – Monday to Thursday (Occasional Fridays)

Pay: £12.21 per hour (plus holiday pay)

Contract: Term-Time Only

Role Overview

Do you have the energy of a superhero, the creativity of an artist, and a passion for working with children? Join our team as a Childcare Activity Leader and turn ordinary mornings and afternoons into unforgettable adventures! At Junior Adventures Group, we’re not just childcare – we’re champions of fun! From football to face painting, scavenger hunts to snack time, you’ll bring smiles, laughter, and energy to our breakfast and after‑school clubs for children aged 4‑11. You’ll also have the opportunity to increase your hours during Holiday Club seasons at another location.

What You’ll Do Day‑to‑Day

  • Deliver exciting, age‑appropriate activities like multi‑sports, arts & crafts, group games, and creative play.
  • Set up engaging play spaces and keep things safe, clean, and awesome.
  • Supervise children with care and enthusiasm, ensuring every child feels welcome, safe, and included.
  • Prepare snacks and manage sign‑in/out processes with a friendly face and attention to detail.
  • Work shifts: 15.15‑18.00, Monday‑Thursday (Occasional Fridays).
  • Be a team player who can also take the lead when needed.
