Company Description: Junior Adventures Group

Location: Alderton County Junior & Infant School, Alderton Hall Lane, Loughton IG10 3HE

Start Date: 1st September

Contract: Term Time Only - with the option to work during the holidays if desired at nearby sites

Hours: 15 hrs per week

Pay: £14.00 an hour

Working hours: 15.00 - 18.00 in the After School Club - Monday to Friday

Note: You can also work up to 40 hrs per week during school holidays if desired - our holiday clubs run from 8.30 - 17.30 during those times.

Please only apply if you have a Level 3 EYFS Childcare Qualification, as this is needed due to having Nursery and Reception Children. An EYFS Early Years Qualification is essential for this role, and Management & Team leading experience is desirable.

We are looking for a happy, enthusiastic and passionate EYFS Leader who is committed to developing and nurturing other team members, as well as our children.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing, directing and supporting staff in their delivery of a safe and effective programme.
  • Providing inclusive, fun, and engaging care for our children while inspiring them to explore their interests.
  • Planning, supervising and delivering planned activities with structure and enthusiasm.
  • Implementing protocols and policies with team members.

We seek someone who is people-focused, warm, honest and genuine, and wants to create unexpected experiences which make people go 'WOW!'.

This role requires compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974. You must provide two references, one from your most recent employer and the other from a childcare setting (if applicable). A DBS check will be conducted on your behalf, so please prepare the correct documentation.

Qualifications: EYFS LEVEL 3 Childcare is essential.
