This is a unique opportunity to kickstart your career in social media. As a Social Media Apprentice at Jungle Creations, you’ll join a fast-paced, supportive team and get first-hand experience in how content is discovered, produced and distributed across platforms like Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and Snapchat. You don’t need professional experience — we’re looking for someone who lives and breathes social, understands different apps, loves finding great videos, and is curious about why content goes viral. You’ll learn from industry experts and gain insight into how audiences behave, how to spot trends, and how digital publishers grow. Successful candidates will have the option to choose from a selection of apprentice programmes. Example options include; Content Creator Level 3 with The Juice Academy or Multi-Channel Marketer with Baltic Apprenticeships. Additional details of these programmes will be shared with candidates who are selected for interview.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with sourcing viral and relevant content across the internet
- Learn how to publish and schedule posts across social platforms
- Help respond to inbox messages and communicate with creators
- Track content trends and feed ideas into the wider team
- Support with rights management, including checking for copyright info
- Help prepare performance reports using Google Sheets and internal dashboards
- Learn how different platforms work and how content is tailored to each
- Stay up to date with internet culture, trending formats and audience behaviour
- Support senior team members with day-to-day publishing and admin tasks
Qualifications & Skills
- No prior experience required, but you must have a passion for social media
- Familiarity with platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat
- Basic IT and digital skills (e.g. using Google Drive, navigating web tools)
- A strong interest in journalism, content, and the digital publishing world
- Awareness of viral trends, influencer culture, and how people consume media
- Good spelling and grammar, with strong written communication
- GCSE-level English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Interest in learning how to use tools like Google Sheets or Canva
- Excellent self-organisation and time management
- Eager to learn and take on feedback
- Confident communicator (both written and verbal)
- Curious about what makes people watch, share and engage
- A natural interest in stories, content and audience behaviour
- Enthusiastic, reliable and proactive
- Able to work independently but ask questions when unsure
- Willing to grow and build a career in social or media
