We are looking for an Engineer Site Supervisor to join our service team in Highbridge, Somerset, responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance of materials handling and ancillary equipment. This is a varied, customer-facing role where you'll be a key technical representative on site, ensuring equipment reliability and excellent service delivery. You'll also support the Area Service Manager, acting as a first point of contact for defined support activities within the service team and helping to maintain strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventative maintenance on materials handling and ancillary equipment
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely
  • Accurately complete service reports and timesheets
  • Manage and control parts stock on site
  • Build effective customer relationships through clear communication, ensuring expectations are met in line with contractual agreements
  • Liaise closely with the After Sales Office to provide customers with accurate repair updates and ETAs
  • Identify and communicate chargeable follow-up work, completing it in a timely manner
  • Ensure all company and customer health and safety standards are adhered to
