The Role
- Performing maintenance and repair work on Forklift Trucks and other Materials Handling Equipment for Jungheinrich UK, working at our national workshop in Warrington.
Role Responsibilities
- Maintaining and operating to health and safety standards on site in line with a 5S approach.
- Repairing Material Handling Equipment delivered to the workshop.
- Service and LOLER inspections of Material Handling Equipment.
- Preparing Material Handling Equipment for demonstration or hires.
- Carrying out repair assessments.
- In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the Workshop Supervisor.
Person Requirements
- We are looking for mechanically and electrical biased engineers from any type of maintenance/service background specifically general automotive technicians, HGV, mobile plant, forklift, or ex-forces military vehicle engineers.
- Mechanical/Electrical engineering experience.
- Methodical approach to diagnostics.
- Product knowledge (JH or similar).
- Able to work unsupervised.
- Good team worker with a can-do attitude.
- Able to work to deadlines.
- Improvement mentality.
