The Role
Performing maintenance and repair work on Forklift Trucks and other Materials Handling Equipment for Jungheinrich UK, working at our national workshop in Warrington.
Role Responsibilities
- Maintaining and operating to health and safety standards on site in line with a 5S approach.
- Repairing Material Handling Equipment delivered to the workshop.
- Service and LOLER inspections of Material Handling Equipment.
- Preparing Material Handling Equipment for demonstration or hires.
- Carrying out repair assessments.
In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the Workshop Supervisor.
Person Requirements
We are looking for mechanically and electrical biased engineers from any type of maintenance/service background specifically general automotive technicians, HGV, mobile plant, forklift, or ex-forces military vehicle engineers.
Competencies Required
- Mechanical/Electrical engineering experience
- Methodical approach to diagnostics
- Product knowledge (JH or similar)
- Able to work unsupervised
- Good communication skills
- Good team worker with a can-do attitude
- Able to work to deadlines
- Improvement mentality
- Attention to detail
