Your role within Jungheinrich will play a crucial part in providing the customer with complete peace of mind in managing their intra-company logistics.

The Role

Performing maintenance and repair work on Forklift Trucks and other Materials Handling Equipment for Jungheinrich UK, working at our national workshop in Warrington.

Role Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and operating to health and safety standards on site in line with a 5S approach.
  • Repairing Material Handling Equipment delivered to the workshop.
  • Service and LOLER inspections of Material Handling Equipment.
  • Preparing Material Handling Equipment for demonstration or hires.
  • Carrying out repair assessments.

In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the Workshop Supervisor.

Person Requirements

  • We are looking for mechanically and electrical biased engineers from any type of maintenance/service background specifically general automotive technicians, HGV, mobile plant, forklift, or ex-forces military vehicle engineers.
  • Mechanical/Electrical engineering experience.
  • Methodical approach to diagnostics.
  • Product knowledge (JH or similar).
  • Able to work unsupervised.
  • Good team worker with a can-do attitude.
  • Able to work to deadlines.
  • Improvement mentality.
