Role Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Dispatcher to ensure the efficient allocation of engineering resources, meeting customer expectations in a timely and cost-effective manner.

You will manage both planned and unplanned work, ensuring all tasks are prioritised, assigned, and completed effectively while maintaining excellent communication with internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

🔧 Log and handle customer calls efficiently, adhering to agreed procedures.

🔧 Build strong relationships with customers, engineers, and colleagues.

🔧 Provide regular updates to customers on the status of their work.

🔧 Allocate and monitor incoming work (planned and unplanned).

🔧 Manage VOR trucks and escalate issues as needed.

🔧 Coordinate with Area Service Managers for absence and absence planning.

🔧 Process and verify engineers' timesheets for accuracy and productivity.

🔧 Ensure correct charging of customer work and clean error logs.

🔧 Participate in team and Area Service Manager meetings.

🔧 Monitor engineers' performance and escalate concerns when necessary.

🔧 Procure engineers' tools and materials as needed.

🔧 Perform additional duties assigned by the Customer Service Manager.

Role Requirements:

✔️ Strong experience in planning, scheduling, or dispatching.

✔️ Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

✔️ Excellent communication skills at all levels.

✔️ IT literacy.

✔️ Experience in a service-related industry is desirable.

✔️ Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
