  • Connect with startups
  • we've made the job hunt a two-way street. You'll apply to roles and receive inbound interest from startups who want to speak to you.

  • landing a role is only the start of your journey with Jumpstart.

You'll join the Jumpstart community (the "best startup community in London") and gain access to all the tools you need to smash your role.

Think mentorship, training & more.

On average, it takes ~4–6 weeks to land a role and you can participate in the programme whilst in full-time work.

The role: editing the content

Exact scope depends on the startup, but you'll own post-production end-to-end, working closely with whoever's filming and the wider marketing team. On a typical week you might:

  • Take raw footage - yours, a creator's, or a founder's phone clips and cut it into fast, scroll-stopping edits.
  • Nail the details that make content actually perform: first-frame hooks, pacing, captions, sound design, a CTA that lands.
  • Edit in Premiere Pro, Cap Cut, After Effects, or whatever gets you to a polished cut fastest.
  • Cut multiple versions of the same footage so the team can test what wins.
  • Keep a steady pipeline of edits moving without the quality dropping.

Depending on the startup you might also help shape shot lists before a shoot, even if you're not the one behind the camera.

Salary range: £30-60K + equity (DOE).

Nice to have

  • Experience editing for a startup, scale-up or business
  • Tik Tok or Meta ads editing experience

Recent grad?

If you've got a reel, edited content that got real traction, or cut videos for your own side hustle, we want to hear from you.
