How does it work?
- Generalist roles in fast-growing startups: Tired of scouring through job boards and unanswered applications? Get exclusive access to a curated list of top startup roles and receive a response on your applications within days.
- Founders pitch to you: As a Jumpstarter once said, “you can’t get vibes from a job description.” Pre-recorded video pitches from founders bring roles and a startup to life so you can ensure it’s a great fit for you.
- Connect directly with founders: We’ve made the job search a two-way process. Apply to startups and receive applications from startups who want to chat with you. There are no recruiters on Jumpstart, so you can connect directly with the hiring teams.
- Individual interview support: Forget awkward group training calls. Receive individual interview support, access training guides, and chat to Jumpstart alumni. You’ll have everything you need to land your dream role.
- Ongoing career growth: Landing a role is only the start of your journey with Jumpstart. You’ll join the Jumpstart community (the “best startup community in London”) and gain access to all the tools you need to excel in your role, including mentorship, training, and more.
On average, it takes approximately 4 weeks to receive an offer, and you can participate in the programme whilst in full-time work. Starting salaries range from £35-60K plus equity (depending on experience).
Roles: All roles on our generalist stream are generalist in nature. Regardless of the job title (Ops, Founder’s Associate, Commercial Associate, etc.), you’ll typically work closely with the founder on high-profile strategic projects. Progression is often rapid, and how you progress depends on how you want to grow your career. Our alumni have gone on to more senior roles including Chief of Staff, Head of Operations, and Product Manager.
Who are we looking for? If you’re looking to accelerate your career at a startup, Jumpstart is for you. We look for people with one of the following backgrounds:
- Proactive recent grad: Founded a side-hustle at university? The president of a university society? Been involved in a bunch of startup-like activities? You’re a perfect fit for Jumpstart!
- Corporate experience (~1-4 years): Gained some corporate experience but now looking for a career that allows you to have an impact? A startup is the perfect place for you. Lots of our alumni started their careers in consulting, finance, or similar.
- Startup or scale-up experience (~1-4 years): Already got some startup or scale-up experience and looking for the next move? We’ll help you find a high-growth generalist role.
More importantly, we want to know about your side hustles (failed or successful!), extracurriculars, and motivations to work in a startup.
Apply in 1 minute on our website, interview with the Jumpstart team, and land a place on our generalist stream.
