What you’ll do:

While the exact role varies by startup, typical responsibilities include:

  • Building the top of the sales funnel: prospecting, outreach, and qualifying leads.
  • Working closely with founders or early sales leaders to refine messaging and outreach.
  • Speaking directly with decision-makers at startups and scaleups.
  • Playing an integral role in a startup's growth, where every new customer counts.

Progression is often fast, with many BDRs moving into Account Exec or Account Manager roles within 12-18 months. We’ve seen a few of our alumni get promoted to sales team lead within the year.

Is this you?

We’re looking for people who:

  • Have 1–4 years of experience in a sales-adjacent or customer-facing role (e.g. recruitment, teaching, estate agency, fundraising, partnerships, hospitality).
  • Are motivated by exceeding targets & can demonstrate where you’ve done this before.
  • Are confident, persuasive communicators who can build rapport quickly.
  • Are ambitious to accelerate their career in sales and open to the fast pace of startups.

Extra points if you’ve:

  • Got side hustles, projects or other achievements that show drive and resilience.

  • Average base salaries: £40–80K OTE (depending on startup & role seniority).
