About The Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Baker to join Jumeirah Carlton Tower.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
Uphold standards of performance, policies and procedures and service standards pertinent to the efficient operation of the outlet in accordance with the hotel policy Departmental Operations manual
To fully understand HACCP and take appropriate action to maintain a safe and equitable working environment whilst being sensitive to, and aware of, business levels to maintain a disciplined but harmonious department.
Assist in planning of menus and designing standard recipes to ensure consistent quality in food production, thereby satisfying guest needs and expectations. Monitor food standards in each Outlet and Banquets
To coach and mentor senior chefs throughout the kitchens, ensuring they have full support to train and develop their teams.
Make recommendations to Management for the modernization of equipment, production methods, presentation, and improved guest satisfaction.
Ensures that all safety rules, emergency procedures and fire prevention colleagues strictly enforce regulations.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Minimum 5 years' international experience in baking within five-star hotels and/or restaurants .
High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Catering, Hospitality, or another relevant field.
Proven ability to build strong working relationships with Executive Chefs, Outlet Managers and colleagues .
Strong supplier and guest relationship management skills , with the ability to maintain high service and quality standards.
