Room Attendant
The position requires a dedicated individual to maintain guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to the highest standards in a luxury 5‑star hotel. Responsibilities include thorough cleaning, refurbishment support, incident reporting, flexible redeployment, and participation in training and meetings.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain assigned areas—including walls, doors, fixtures, furniture, skirting, and covering—to the required standard, including during refurbishment programs.
- Be aware of the work schedule and notify the supervisor or duty manager if work cannot be carried out.
- Report any complaints, accidents, equipment malfunction, maintenance faults, suspicious persons, safety hazards, or other incidents immediately to the supervisor or duty manager.
- Be flexible and extend job duties as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments or areas if required to meet business demands and guest service needs.
- Attend training and meetings as required.
- Assist in maximising productivity for the Department.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a 5‑star luxury property, preferably in London.
- Experience as a Housekeeping Porter is desirable.
- Ideal candidate is a team player who collaborates with colleagues to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel.
- Demonstrated professionalism in interactions with guests and fellow staff members, contributing positively to the overall atmosphere of the hotel.
