About the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manager of Sales & Events to join Jumeirah. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Drive Sales & Events activity for the property’s Signature restaurants, generating revenue through private dining, group bookings and curated dining experiences.
- Develop and execute sales plans that position each restaurant to attract the right business across key trading periods and special occasions.
- Build relationships with corporate, social and lifestyle clients, translating their needs into tailored dining experiences that deliver guest satisfaction and commercial return.
- Identify and convert new opportunities across relevant market segments, building a healthy pipeline of restaurant event and private dining business.
- Manage proposals, negotiations and confirmations, ensuring bookings are commercially viable, well positioned and aligned with Jumeirah service standards.
- Coordinate with Restaurant GMs, Operations, Marketing and PR teams to ensure event-led business is seamlessly delivered and supports restaurant visibility and revenue.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- 6–8 years’ experience in Sales, Events or hospitality commercial roles, ideally within luxury hotels, restaurants or premium lifestyle environments.
- Proven experience generating revenue through private dining, group bookings, event-led business or curated guest experiences.
- Strong pipeline management, negotiation and conversion skills, with confidence moving opportunities from enquiry to confirmed business.
- Experience working closely with restaurant or operations teams to deliver commercially successful and guest-focused experiences.
- Relationship-led and commercially aware, with the ability to connect client needs to covers, spend and overall F&B performance.
