About The Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Commis Chef to join the Pastry Kitchen in Jumeirah Carlton Tower. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Work as a team, be courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible.
- Gather, measure, mix, and prepare meal ingredients, sauces, and seasoning.
- Wash, peel, and chop vegetables, fruits, and meat etc. as applicable.
- Knowledge of cutting and seasoning different meats and marination.
- Prepare basic dishes such as salads and sauces.
- Ensure that the food items are stocked properly in refrigerators and freezers.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- College Degree in Culinary Arts or similar from an accredited Culinary School.
- Expert in food quality and presentation skills.
- Adaptability and appreciation of cultural diversity.
- Team Player with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Reliable and sincere showing a high level of energy.
