Are you a Procurement Manager with 3–5 years of experience in the UK energy, infrastructure or industrial sectors? Join JUMBO Consulting Group and support the delivery of major low‑carbon and renewable projects shaping the UK’s energy transition. We are looking for a motivated procurement professional to work across a diverse portfolio of UK‑based projects, including carbon capture, grid and transmission infrastructure, onshore wind, offshore wind, solar, and BESS. This role offers an opportunity to deepen your procurement expertise while contributing directly to the development of critical energy infrastructure.

Role Overview

As a Procurement Manager, you will support the planning and execution of procurement activities for key project packages. You will work closely with technical, commercial and project teams to drive high‑quality procurement outcomes and ensure value, compliance, and strong supplier engagement. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple technologies and project stages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the creation and implementation of procurement strategies across major project scopes
  • Lead end‑to‑end procurement processes, including RFIs, RFPs, evaluations and recommendations for award
  • Draft, review and support the negotiation of supply, service, installation and consultancy contracts
  • Coordinate commercial, technical, legal and financial input from internal teams and client organisations
  • Ensure procurement governance, documentation, and compliance are maintained throughout the process
  • Conduct market research and supplier engagement to support category strategies and project planning
  • Support contract management activities during project execution, including variations and claims
  • Contribute to internal knowledge development, best practices, and tools used across JUMBO’s global business

Ideal Candidates Will Have

  • 3–5 years of procurement or contract management experience
  • Experience in any of the following UK sectors: carbon capture, transmission & grid, onshore wind, offshore wind, solar PV, BESS or major infrastructure
  • Experience supporting or leading tendering and negotiation processes
  • Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple inputs and manage deadlines
  • A structured and detail‑oriented approach to work
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, business, supply chain, commercial management, or similar
