We are seeking a motivated contracts professional to support a diverse portfolio of UK‐based projects, including carbon capture, grid and transmission infrastructure, onshore wind, offshore wind, solar, and BESS. This role offers an opportunity to deepen your contracts expertise while contributing directly to the development of critical energy infrastructure.
Role Overview
As a Contracts Advisor, you will support the planning, development and administration of contract and commercial activities across key project scopes. Working closely with technical, commercial and project teams, you will help ensure robust contracting strategies, high‐quality documentation, strong supplier engagement and effective contract execution. This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple technologies and project phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of contract strategies for major project scopes
- Lead or support contract drafting, reviews, and negotiations across supply, service, installation, and consultancy categories
- Manage tendering processes including RFIs, RFPs, evaluations and recommendations for award
- Coordinate technical, commercial, legal and financial input from internal teams and client organisations
- Maintain contract governance, documentation accuracy, and compliance throughout all stages
- Conduct market research and supplier engagement to support contracting and commercial planning
- Support contract management during project execution, including variations, amendments and claims handling
- Contribute to the development of internal best practices, templates and tools across JUMBO's global business
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a proactive, detail‐oriented contracts professional who thrives in a fast‐paced and collaborative environment.
Ideal Candidates Will Have
- 3–5 years of experience in contract management, procurement, or commercial advisory
- Experience in any of the following UK sectors: carbon capture, transmission & grid, onshore wind, offshore wind, solar PV, BESS or major infrastructure
- Experience supporting or leading tendering and contract negotiation processes
- Strong communication and stakeholder‐management skills
- Ability to manage multiple inputs and deadlines
- A structured, analytical and detail‐oriented working style
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, business, commercial management, supply chain, law, or similar
