Recently backed by a global private equity firm, we are on an exciting growth trajectory. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Quality Assurance to lead our Test Practice. This hybrid role involves travelling twice a week to meet with clients and to our Solihull offices.
Lead and manage the testing team, fostering a culture of delivery excellence and collaboration and putting our clients first.
Own and develop our testing service lines, ensuring they align with industry standards and client needs.
Provide expert advice and consultation on testing best practices and methodologies.
Lead strategic consultative engagements, advocating the critical value and impact of testing within the software development process.
Be an advocate for best practices, including automation, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and other modern testing methodologies.
Oversee the management and coordination of nearshore testing teams.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the testing practice.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of testing activities within the overall project lifecycle.
Proven experience in a senior testing role, with a track record of managing and leading teams.
Experience in consulting and advising on testing best practices.
Experience in leading strategic consultative engagements and advocating the value of testing.
Significant experience working with organisations in the financial services industry as part of a consultancy.
Experienced in managing, developing, and building high-performing delivery teams.
Excellent senior (CxO level) stakeholder management skills.
