We are currently seeking an Operational Controller (Commercial Control) to work with our public sector client on a 6 months contract, 515 Outside IR35.
Location: 2 - 3 days on site Milton Keynes - Hybrid/Remote.
The ideal candidates will have a proven background within public sector experience holding active SC clearance.
Skills:
- Qualified accounting (CIMA / ACCA)
- Experience in an autonomous role leading commercial control for a sizable department or P&L, including cost engineering
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders at executive / board level, delivering business change that improves performance, delivers growth and has a significant organisational impact on service provision, activities and products
- Experience leading and developing teams both in a finance and commercial setting at senior levels
- High degree of commercial acumen with detailed knowledge of the organisation and a clear understanding of the operational environment
- Political awareness of long term implications of policy and strategy
- Ability to interpret trends, developments and produce future recommendations to influence and shape organisational strategies
- Deep knowledge of commercial finance, FP&A and pricing, considered a leader in this area
- Demonstrated experience of delivering financial impact through pricing, delivering target return on investment and buy-in at an inter-organisational level by simultaneously demonstrating value-for-money
- IT or Data Centre sector experience, expertise in pricing IT products
