Role Overview
Jul’s London is seeking an organised, reliable, and guest-focused Bar Back to support the bar team during service. This role is essential to ensuring smooth bar operations, supporting drink preparation and service, maintaining cleanliness, and upholding Jul’s high standards of quality, presentation, and hospitality.

- Food, wine, and cocktail menus, including allergens
- Steps of service and guest interaction standards
- Health and safety requirements
- Bar operating systems and equipment
Key Responsibilities
- Support the bar team with preparation, service, and close-down duties
- Prepare and serve coffees and teas to service standards
- Serve wine by the glass and deliver drinks to tables when required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and back-of-house areas
- Refill fridges and ensure stock is organised and readily available
- Ensure bar tools, equipment, and glassware are clean and properly stored
- Maintain a friendly, professional atmosphere at all times
- Attend daily briefings and follow service instructions
- Ensure drink quality consistently meets Jul’s standards
- Monitor and maintain cocktail lists, ensuring accuracy and cleanliness
Duties by Service Period
Before Service
- Set up and prepare the bar station for service
- Refill fridges and stock service areas
- Attend daily briefings in full uniform and maintain a professional appearance
- Assist team members once assigned duties are completed
During Service
- Prepare coffees and teas
- Serve wine by the glass and deliver drinks to tables, providing brief explanations when required
- Polish glassware and ensure proper storage and presentation
- Support bartenders to maintain efficient and smooth service flow
After Service
- Complete all closing and cleaning duties
- Ensure workstations and equipment are clean and ready for the next service
- Provide feedback to the Bar Manager on service flow and any issues
