Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with strong groundworks and finishing experience to oversee a small residential project in the S6 area of Sheffield. This project involves managing a site from early-stage works through to completion and handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day site operations, subcontractors, and material deliveries
  • Overseeing groundworks, externals, and finishing stages
  • Ensuring compliance with H&S regulations and maintaining site documentation
  • Conducting progress reports, toolbox talks, and quality checks
  • Liaising with the project team to ensure deadlines are met
  • Ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to specification

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on small-scale residential schemes
  • Strong background in groundworks and finishing
  • SMSTS, CSCS (Black/White), and First Aid
  • Ability to manage trades, schedules, and site documentation
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
