Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with strong groundworks and finishing experience to oversee a small residential project in the S6 area of Sheffield. This project involves managing a site from early-stage works through to completion and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day site operations, subcontractors, and material deliveries
- Overseeing groundworks, externals, and finishing stages
- Ensuring compliance with H&S regulations and maintaining site documentation
- Conducting progress reports, toolbox talks, and quality checks
- Liaising with the project team to ensure deadlines are met
- Ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to specification
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on small-scale residential schemes
- Strong background in groundworks and finishing
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black/White), and First Aid
- Ability to manage trades, schedules, and site documentation
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
