JRRL are seeking a Commercial Account Handler for a well-established Insurance Agency in Bromley. The Commercial Account Handler will work with the Commercial department to provide broking and technical support.
Duties for the Commercial Account Handler:
- Negotiate terms on behalf of customers with underwriters.
- Handle process and assist with commercial claims.
- Comply at all times with the requirements of the firm's own procedures, the Financial Services Act 2012 and FCA Regulations.
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
- Handle policy renewals, adjustments and new business quotations.
Person Specification for the Commercial Account Handler:
- Ability to maintain professional competence at all times.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Ability to make professional presentations for existing and potential customers.
- Excellent keyboard skills including Microsoft Suite, email and internet.
- Rounded knowledge of the insurance industry.
- Sound understanding of the placement and operation of liability and property insurance.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000pa
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am till 5.30pm
This is a fully office-based position.
