Location: Biggin Hill

JRRL are currently recruiting a Production Technician for our well-established client in Biggin Hill to join a dedicated and quality-focused production team.

Duties for the Production Technician:

  • Assemble and test electro-mechanical products in accordance with Work Instructions, Test Procedures, Quality Standards, Drawings, Work Orders, and company standards.
  • Record test and calibration data accurately into the QA database.
  • Interpret drawings, technical manuals, and instructions to carry out assembly and testing activities.
  • Suggest improvements or modifications to enhance assembly processes and product quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workplace in line with 5S standards.
  • Support and guide fellow production staff as required.
  • Work safely, minimising hazards and risks at all times.
  • Operate power and manual tools safely and correctly.
  • Report any H&S issues, hazards, or near misses immediately.
  • Wear PPE and company uniform as required.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Person Specification for the Production Technician:

  • Experience in electro-mechanical assembly or electronic background advantageous.
  • Industry qualifications or soldering skills beneficial.
  • Technical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to be cross-trained across multiple products.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and work within production schedules.
