JRRL have a unique opportunity for a payroll administrator. Our client is a well-established contract cleaning company. They are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Payroll Administrator to oversee their monthly payroll processing and related payroll administration tasks. This role offers a flexible part-time opportunity for a seasoned payroll professional seeking a manageable and rewarding schedule.
Key Responsibilities for the payroll administrator:
- Process monthly payroll for over 200 employees using Sage 50 Payroll
- Input payroll calculations and amendments, including starters, leavers, and adjustments
- Manage employee payments through Sage Salary Payments
- Issue payslips via Sage HR
- Submit FPS and EPS returns to HMRC
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data
- Process leavers and issue P45s
- Oversee pension administration through The People’s Pension, including monthly uploads and correspondence
- Auto-enrolment administration
- Re-enrolment processes
- Complete year-end payroll procedures, including P60s and reporting
- Ensure payroll compliance with HMRC and pension regulations
Essential Requirements for the payroll administrator:
- Proven payroll administration experience, ideally processing payrolls of 200+ employees
- Strong knowledge of Sage 50 Payroll
- Experience with Sage Salary Payments and Sage HR
- Familiarity with HMRC payroll requirements, FPS and EPS submissions
- Experience managing workplace pension schemes and auto-enrolment
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
