The purpose of the role is to support the casework of Julie Minns MP by providing information, advice and support to constituents on a variety of constituency and policy issues. Caseworkers play an important role in a Member of Parliament's office, supporting the MP to ensure that constituents' concerns are heard and addressed. You will be liaising with Government departments, local councils, the voluntary sector and a range of other bodies.
The position is full-time (37.5 hours a week). Applications will be considered for remote working or being based in the Westminster office or Carlisle constituency office. Experience of managing enquiries and correspondence is essential. The applicant should demonstrate previous relevant experience when applying.
