Based from our Salisbury shop - covering Dorset & Wiltshire. This is a voluntary role with no salary. Expenses paid.

Julia’s House is your local children’s hospice, providing specialist care to children with life-limiting and complex conditions, and vital support to their families. We help create magical moments and precious memories — because every child and every family deserves them.

Our incredible nurses and carers deliver expert clinical care alongside fun, laughter and compassion. We also give parents a much-needed break from round-the-clock care, offering peace of mind that their child is safe, supported and cherished.

We’re looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to help drive our Julia’s House shop van — a role that keeps our charity moving and makes a real difference behind the scenes.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collecting and delivering donations and internal post
  • Driving from our Salisbury shop to other Julia’s House locations, including our Creekmoor Warehouse in Poole, our Swindon charity shop, and our shop and hospice in Devizes
  • Ideally Mondays or Thursdays, 9am–12pm
  • We’re flexible, so let’s talk about what works for you

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Friendly, dependable and happy to work independently
  • Physically fit (some heavy lifting may be involved)
  • A confident driver with a full valid UK driving licence
  • Over 25 years old, with at least 3 years’ driving experience
