Every moment counts. Every memory matters. Come and join our Nursing team as a Nurse and provide exceptional care and support to children with life limiting and life-threatening conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical nursing care to children and young people with complex and life-threatening conditions.
- Work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of carers, nurses, team nurses, senior team nurses and lead nurses.
- Conduct clinical nursing assessment, planning and delivery of care based on evidence and Julias House policies and procedures.
- Deliver high-quality care in accordance with changing needs of patients.
- Cover days, evenings, weekends, school holidays and occasional overnights, with a variable schedule prepared 6 weeks in advance.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children with complex needs.
- Experience in clinical nursing assessment, planning and delivery.
- Ability to work in a team and independently, using own initiative.
- Commitment to holistic, family-centered care.
Working Details:
- Based at Wiltshire Hospice, working across Wiltshire in children’s homes.
- 35 hours per week contract.
- No fixed hours: care provided at times requested by families; flexibility required.
