Every moment counts. Every memory matters. Come and join our Nursing team as a Nurse and provide exceptional care and support to children with life limiting and life-threatening conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical nursing care to children and young people with complex and life-threatening conditions.
  • Work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of carers, nurses, team nurses, senior team nurses and lead nurses.
  • Conduct clinical nursing assessment, planning and delivery of care based on evidence and Julias House policies and procedures.
  • Deliver high-quality care in accordance with changing needs of patients.
  • Cover days, evenings, weekends, school holidays and occasional overnights, with a variable schedule prepared 6 weeks in advance.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children with complex needs.
  • Experience in clinical nursing assessment, planning and delivery.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently, using own initiative.
  • Commitment to holistic, family-centered care.

Working Details:

  • Based at Wiltshire Hospice, working across Wiltshire in children’s homes.
  • 35 hours per week contract.
  • No fixed hours: care provided at times requested by families; flexibility required.
