The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

This position is a temporary maternity cover contract (approximately 12 months) and will be based at our Wimborne office. It will provide additional administrative support for the Clinical Development team who provides and sources all staff training and clinical development for the Julia's House Care Team.

Main duties of the job:

  • Implement effective and efficient administrative services to support the Care Team.
  • Administer the structure required for the Regulatory Bodies and maintain accurate records of methods, evidence of policies and monitoring of procedures for inspection.
  • Provide administrative support for all clinical development and staff training within the Care Team.
  • Work as part of a team to provide flexible administration support 5 days a week for the Care Team.

Julia's House is an award-winning children's hospice charity dedicated to bringing comfort and care to families across the two counties. Each family we support is unique and so is the care we provide. When a family finds out that their child has a very serious medical condition, which is life-limiting or life-threatening, their world falls apart. Julia's House exists to help these children and their families.

Job responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will be an experienced administrator with a good standard of English and numeracy.
  • You will be a supportive team member and an effective communicator and will also be proficient in the use of databases—configuring, inputting, maintaining and extracting data.
  • You will also be experienced in diary management and booking of appointments on a large scale.
  • The role will require working to deadlines, with a high level of accuracy.
  • A full driving licence and use of car for business purposes are also required as you may be requested to attend and set up training venues.

Person Specification:

  • Experience of working in an administrative role.
  • Experience of working with databases, configuring, inputting and data extraction.
  • Experience of managing diaries, appointments and compiling rotas.
  • Experience of working to deadlines.
  • Experience of taking minutes.
  • Experience of working or volunteering within the not for profit sector.
