What You'll Be Doing

  • Building and inspecting furniture samples to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Carrying out detailed quality checks on products, components, finishes, fittings, and packaging.
  • Identifying faults, assembly issues, damage, or potential safety concerns before products reach customers.
  • Recording inspection findings accurately and maintaining clear technical records.
  • Supporting the Product, Technical, and Quality teams with sample reviews and product assessments.
  • Ensuring products meet company specifications, compliance requirements, and quality expectations.
  • Assisting with product testing, technical documentation, and compliance checks where required.
  • Communicating with suppliers and customers regarding product quality, inspections, technical queries, and corrective actions.
  • Helping maintain organised sample and inspection areas.

What We're Looking For

  • Essential Skills & Experience
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a quality control, inspection, technician, or similar hands-on role.
  • Experience assembling products — ideally furniture.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a practical mindset.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Confidence working with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Desirable Skills
  • Valid reach truck licence.
  • Previous experience with furniture samples, technical product reviews, or product inspections.
